Facility/Gymnasium/Wellness Supervisor (Longview) Part-Time

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to serve as a Part-Time (Summer/Seasonal) Facility, Wellness & Gymnasium Supervisor at the Longview Recreation Center. This position is responsible for overseeing evening and weekend operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor activities and events within the facility and gymnasium
• Oversee operations of the wellness/fitness center
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons and assisting with questions
• Conduct facility tours and provide new member orientations
• Enforce facility policies and safety procedures
• Perform routine cleaning and general upkeep of the facility
• Address and report any issues, incidents, or maintenance concerns

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent schedule
• Successful completion of a background check is required

Schedule:

• Evening shifts and one weekend shift required
• Minimum of 3–4 shifts per week (approximately 15–20 hours per week)
